TO GROW SALES, YOU NEED DIGITAL MARKETING THAT'S A LITTLE HACKY, A LOT SCRAPPY, AND EQUALLY POISED FOR QUICK WINS AND LONGEVITY.
THAT'S WHERE I COME IN.
Nice to meet you. I'm Amanda, a digital marketing manager based in San Francisco.
With experience in B2B across agencies, a SaaS startup, and a financial services enterprise, I've seen how marketing teams support efforts to sell and to scale. Here are the projects that showcase what I can do for you.
WEB & SEO
CONTENT & STRATEGY
How Local Firms Compete with National Brands
An agency was tasked with assessing how content could differentiate a local document management and shredding business in the presence of national brands. I used search data to show that localized questions about specific services were unanswered by the larger entity, which was then used to redefine the content strategy for the small business.
SEM & SOCIAL ADVERTISING
Facebook Advertising on a Budget
When an agency approached me on behalf of a client to evaluate their Facebook ad spend, there was a mismatch in audience engagement and business focus - photos of customers performed best organically, but the firm was investing in stock images. I restructured their spend to boost content that performed well and leveraged lookalike audiences to expand their network.
SEM to Boost a Brand
A new health supplement launched online without brand recognition. To test quickly and generate early wins, a combination of Google and Facebook advertising gave us direction. With a $10,000 budget, we learned the best-performing tactics were a combination of striking visuals, influencer testimonials, and on-demand purchase options through chat bots and call centers.
AUTOMATION & LEAD GENERATION
The Deal-Winning White Paper
This white paper, written for a mortgage servicing audience, produced more qualified leads than any previous content initiative. It was the first touch point in the sales journey for a nearly $2 million deal that closed within 6 months.
A Marketo Implementation...
...in 6 weeks. As the contract with Pardot came to a close, 50 forms and 2 dozen email and landing page templates were recreated. The system now supports a new marketing technology stack to power a lead generation program that’s improving that marketing to sales hand-off.
These are the resources that I find most useful when hiring, downsizing, and managing teams.
How to Give Frank Feedback
I used the tactic outlined in this video during a performance review to describe opportunities for the team member to reach their goals:
"When you [describe action], the impact is [X] and next time it would be great to [desired outcome]."
If you'd like to work together, let's discuss what you're looking to build and how I can help.
